| Delta Force: Angel Falls (other names, Delta Force: Black Ops, and Delta Force: Cuba) is an upcoming first-person shooter for numerous platforms by NovaLogic. [1][2] Rumors claim that the game will be for multiple platforms, and that it is expected to be released some time around July 2009. Novalogic's previous title was Delta Force: Xtreme, which was released April 2005.
Angel Falls will consist of 12 single player missions over 3 campaigns, 12 multiplayer maps supporting multiple game types including TKOTH, Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch.
Additionally, Angel Falls will utilize real Delta Force scenarios, tactics and equipment in course of game through extensive consultations with Delta Force operators.
Seamless large-scale environments and land, air and sea-based vehicles will also be present, with gratifying gunplay, well-balanced weapons and tactically interesting dynamic environments.
Angel Falls will also support up to 200 combatants, per game, in online play.
According to a recent "unofficial" interview, the game is being developed on a completely new engine, that will contain similar graphics to Crysis. Other features were explained such as the ability to change terrains on the fly, and being in a completely different spirit from previous titles
According to the director of design of NovaLogic, NILE may be released with Angel Falls. It is said to be completely better than previous titles' NILE versions.
As of Sept. 17th, 2008 NovaLogic submitted an application to trademark "Southern Cross". This could very well be an expansion to Angel Falls.
